On 5 April 2016 the JRC presented the interactive and collaborative online European Energy Efficiency Platform. This beta platform is conceived to fill the gap opened by scattered data and fragmented knowledge resulting from a rapidly growing energy efficiency market. It is expected to be both a one-stop shop for information retrieval and a meeting point for experts to exchange data and reduce redundant activities.
How do I create an account?
I'd like to start contributing to the European Energy Efficiency Platform. How can I create an account?
To obtaining an E3P account is very simple: all you need to do is passing your mouse over the "Login" option in the menu (top right) and click on the "Log in using ECAS" button that appears.
ECAS is the European Commission Authentication Service (a secure SSO service). An ECAS account allows you to access large number of online web applications and sites. Having an account on ECAS is not reserved only to the European institutions personel, but it is also available to any citizen that makes a request.
- If you're working or have worked for a European institution or a European project you might already have an ECAS account and you can use it to log on E3P.
In order to be able to contribute to the platform, you must create an Expert profile (link).
